Yoga Styles Offered at Sunrise Yoga
HathaYoga will allow you to realize your potential—both physically and mentally. Some poses strengthen muscles, bones, and connective tissue, and other poses tone and massage the internal organs. Hatha Yoga, by helping to balance the mind and body, also helps to relieve stress, tension, and anxiety, allowing you to lead a fully balanced life.
Vinyasa Flow synchronizes breath and movement encouraging you to connect with your body! Vinyasa Flow links the mind and the body creating calmness, focus, and awareness, having your breath carry you through the poses. The practice is dynamic movement with your breath as your guide.
Power Yoga is directed at creating the highest level of energy, vitality and freedom. The only way to do this is to work with yourself, not against yourself. By working hard sensitively, we create an environment that's healing and that honors each individual, an environment that respects our boundaries and works within him or her. In this way, we create an atmosphere conducive to natural expansion and growth. We're not interested in pushing past our edge to get to a place where we've been brainwashed into thinking we need to be in order to have happiness

Class Descriptions
All Levels (Power Yoga)– This all-encompassing yoga session will help you clarify, relax, focus, and concentrate. All levels are accommodated in this active and energizing class.
Basics (Power Yoga)– We will practice the basic yoga postures to understand alignment and physical presence within the body.
Restore & Renew – Poses are held longer so you are able to physically and mentally release more deeply. This is part of the Hatha style of yoga, focusing on the ligaments and joints of the body.
Vinyasa Flow - This dynamic class encourages you to explore your breath and movement within your poses! Learn to live moment by moment, breath by breath with a sense of play and fun!
Yin/Yang Yoga – This 75 minute class takes your mind and your body to another level! This practice helps us learn about stillness in movement. Hold poses longer, and move deliberately through flows. Come away feeling stronger and more serene!
